The Anatomy of a High-Converting Contractor Landing Page

    Section by Section

A high-converting contractor landing page follows a specific structure. Here's the blueprint I use:

    Hero Section (Above the Fold)

  1. Clear headline addressing the customer's problem
  2. Sub-headline with your unique value proposition
  3. Primary CTA button (contrasting color)
  4. Phone number (clickable on mobile)
  5. Trust indicators (licensed, insured, years in business)
  6. Social Proof Band

  7. Star rating from Google
  8. Number of completed projects
  9. "As seen in" or certification logos
  10. Services Overview

  11. 3-4 service cards with icons
  12. Brief descriptions
  13. Individual CTAs linking to detailed service pages
  14. Trust Section

  15. 3-5 customer testimonials with names and cities
  16. Before/after photos
  17. Video testimonial if available
  18. FAQ Section

  19. 4-6 common questions answered
  20. Helps with SEO (Google pulls FAQ content)
  21. Final CTA

  22. Repeat the primary call-to-action
  23. Create urgency ("Only 3 spots left this month")
  24. Include both phone and form options
  25. This structure consistently produces 3-5% conversion rates for my contractor clients — well above the industry average of 1-2%.
